iOS version of Tape Measure AR uses Apples “ARKit” to measure real object sizes with just your phones camera. Here are the most common questions regarding this app.


App does not lock onto points for some reason when aiming at things?

Make sure the area is well lit. The device has to motion track its environment 30 times each second. It’s a hard job, give it a hand.

Area’s well lit, but it just does not want to detect anything?

Make sure the surface has a clearly distinguishable texure to it. Having a smooth, flat coloured surface is likely the cause.

I keep losing measurements when moving around?

Refrain from moving the device too suddenly. When you move the device it has to scan the next area and add it to the current tracked area.

Is there an Android version?

How do I cancel the subscription?

This can be done within the app, or by following Apple instructions, available at: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.

      iOS need to unsubscribe button directly from your website, can’t find any subscribe /unsubscribe button in iPhone!
